Care for old age, care for housing the old people in the society, and care for the disabled is one of the areas where Ghana Property Awards is focusing Its charity programs on.
We would never have had scandals in care homes or in any residential provision if the local theory had worked. Why didn't they know, why didn't they report it, why didn't we all hear about it until it was much too late, until there were dead bodies or something really tragic happening to those people?
We all know we will be old one day. But do we stop and think how we are going to manage ourselves, care for our selves, and even feed ourselves at that age. The fact that one has all the money on earth does not guarantee us having that perfect care.
It is not just central government responsibility to care for old age in our society. We all have to do what we can to mobilize resources to promote quality care for our old and venerable in the society. This is what Ghana Property Awards call The Big Society. It’s the big society because the Property and construction industry is the movers and shakers of a nation, so care should be across the nation
African Property Awards has secured 10.5 plots of Land in the Bawjiase district to construct 100 first class homes that will be used as an investment vehicle to manage the care home for the old and venerable in the society. The facility will be used to serve as afrter Hospitil long term care facility for most people.

We are appealing to companies and business to donate in kind or cash to help complete the facility. All donations up to one bedroom will be recognized and be written on a plaque, which will be erected in front of the premises to advertise the particular organization and individual for the generous contribution.
Your contribution and signing up to help the society yearly will go a long way in positioning your brand positively in the minds of the public and your contribution to the public social responsibilities will be a reality.
Special Sponsorship Funds will be sourced and be channeled to the Big Society, an NGO which is part of African Property Awards is with the aim of offering after hospital home care for the Elderly at the Konkon Wonderland – The Big Society near Bawjiase.
